The replacement glass is a good fit, minutely wider but the screw in the cafetiere handle can by loosened slightly. The most annoying thing though is that the pouring spout is not the same as the original, this design causes a drip of coffee to drip down between the glass and chrome on the outside of the glass each time it is used, the old pouring spout curved around more so a drip would not run down the side of the glass. I'm able to make this accurate comparison as I have two identical cafetieres, one with this glass and one with the original.

This was an exact match for our La Cafetiere Beaker that cracked. Make sure you order the right size as they're not all the same!

Just to say I ordered one of these to replace a broken one. It fitted perfectly in an original "Le Cafetiere" frame which is about 19 years old and it worked as well as I expected it to.

Item doesn't have the white logo on the beaker whereas the photo on the amazon website shows it does. Very tight fit in my 2 year old frame. Read more
