This is a very stylish kettle - looks perfect on my new black granite worktop!
Lightweight and easy to handle especially when pouring.
Pours without splashing or dripping.
A minus is there is no filling level shown on the outside - not that I find this a problem - I never used the one on my previous kettles.

Whilst a pleasing design shape, this kettle is not great. The lid is hard to get off and on and water level can only be guessed at if filling by the spout although this is not recommended by the manufacturers I have had to resort to this method of filling.
The descaling filter does not prevent or reduce limescale, what it does do is filter the water as you pour so that the bits do not go into your cup. As I live in a very hard water region it is necessary to clean this often, the lime scale also builds up around the outside of the lid.
Another annoying thing is that the black plastic screw covers at the base of the handle continually 'pop' off.
It is also quite noisy and had developed a small leak at the base.
All in all not good and am shopping for a replacement before it gives up the ghost completely which I am sure won't be long!

This is a very attractive smart kettle, it pours beautifully and safely, I would have given it full marks if the lid was easier to remove, this was mentioned in the reviews which I read before purchasing. It is hard to remove the lid and instructions do say not to fill through the spout but I do, as I fear the force used to remove the lid would break the handle or the lid. So far it is easy to clean and is staying in mint condition in spite of our very hard water, probably due to the fact the spout does not leak drips down the kettle.

16 months and packed up
A very fine kettle, yes a tight lid but it has packed up 16 months after purchase and we are not heavy users so beware, we will not be buying another

I really like this kettle it doesn't splash when pouring out boiling water it is light and easy to handle I highly recommend it to you
