Reading some reviews I thought this was going to be a quality item, but was quickly disappointed. Made very badly and hard drive doesn't fit in case properly as circuit board not installed correctly.

I've used numerous cases for hard disks in the past, and I've always been a little disappointed with the teeny screws supplied with most of them. You need a microscope half the time to put them together! and they always look just that little bit better on the pictures than when they arrive. These ones are brilliant. They're made of sturdy metal and simply snap open for the drive to fit in seconds with no need for screws. The circuit board inside looks well made and they've been running sweetly since I ordered 3 recently. They really do fit in your pocket and the price is perfect! A+++

Absolutley brilliant, my old laptop IDE HDD sits nice and snug within this very cheap and very high quality icybox.
If I could give 10 stars I would, 5 stars just doesnt seem enough for this awesome bit of kit :)

Perfect and pocketable

Please be aware that in most cases hard drives that are used with this item have to be partitioned and then formated to be reconised by XP or VISTA to allocate a drive letter. Read more
