Old pc, no ethernet port. Experts told me to get one fitted or simply fit one myself by buying an internal something or other and connecting it to the motherboard??? Enough said really! Found this little gadget and thought for the price I couldnt go wrong... its great! Just stick in the usb port, then youre prompted to put in the cd which is a mini disk and it set itself up in a matter of seconds. Much easier than i thought, fantastic price and stress headache has gone!

It does exactly what it says it will do - straight out of the box. It comes with a mini-CD with drivers for Windows XP, Vista, Mac and Linux and Windows XP installs from disk with no problem. Connected wife's PC to the LAN cable and immediately part of the network without having to open it up and find space for another card inside the case. No more earache about the wireless network not connecting first time!

Common problem - no ethernet port on computer.AOL (EXPERT?)told me to get a computer engineer to install one,he had never heard of an adaptor.I found this gadget,installed the little beauty in the blink of an eye and was online with my new modem router in no time.Can now connect to x-box live! and use internet at same time.End result - cheap solution,happy dad,happy kid,and we all lived happily ever after.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Flimsy but not cheap
Bought to use with MacBook air - poor quality and really flimsy in the USB port. Driver disk useless and didn't seem to work when downloaded online. Poor

Windows 7 - doesn't work!
