Ihave recently purchase this car adapter and must recommend highly, no longer do i have to charge my mobile,sat nav, laptop etc at home, i can now charge all on the go as well as using my mp3 player. What a great product, excellent seller. Thanks

Great little device that does what it says. I've used it for running multiple devices including the USB slot which I use to power a USB key MP3 player. I've not used the included velcro patch to attach it to anything yet, so don't know how strong that is.
The only minor negative, preventing 5 stars is that the space between the sockets isn't a lot and if the things being plugged in are wide, then they may not all fit in at the same time.

I managed to break it. My fault really, I tried to power a coolbox with it at the same time as charging my phone and powering the satnav. I didn't really count the amps, but it was enough to fry the innards of the plug before blowing the fuse. I guess it was a 5A fuse and I was trying to draw about 6. Oops.

This is a cheap but good-value multi-socket adapter and the extra benefit of a USB port. It has a much sturdier plug than many budget adapters, fits securely into my car's 12v socket and doesn't feel as though it's about to fall apart.
The three sockets allow multiple accessories to be used at the same time - eg powering a 12v coolbox (3.5amps), running a sat-nav and charging a phone while the USB port can be used to charge a second phone. Although very versatile, you must note that this is only rated at 5 amps/60W and this is very quickly reached if powering a coolbox: a large coolbox alone can be rated at 60W/5amps and a smaller 24 litre size is usually around 3.5amps/40W so, if you need to run several larger-drain appliances, a higher-rated eg 8amp adapter might be a more suitable purchase. Also the plug is near impossible to prise apart and can't be unscrewed so if the fuse blows eg due to over-loading then the adapter is written-off.
If you're just looking to run a sat-nav, charge a phone or other low-drain items then this will do the job reliably at a low price.

weak point causes cable to break
