This sort of works, best I can really say. If you get the right mother board and keyboard it works as advertised, some combinations just produced corruption or even no keyboard functionality. Many of the words in the menus are miss-spelt, I think this might be a way to try and fool playback detection, the fact the menu also plays back very slowly is again an attempt to avoid detection?. It is physically a little different to the picture shown. It is a little shorter, and has a ribbed barrel, this plus the CE mark makes it look pretty harmeless. There are also purple and white colour options.

I couldn't get it to work with any sort of KVM, I tried three with no luck. In fact, it gives its self away immediately. The use with a PS/2 to USB or USB to PS/2 also fails again giving itself away by spitting out random characters.

As far as I can see, once you have the right keyboard it is only detectable physically or by playback detection, but if the bad guy has any brains he'll playback on another computer. So, check the back of your computer for these things!

This product is a good backup solution for typing. The obvious implication of typing through a keylogger, is that if you tend to jump around documents, the keylogger's text steam will output the document in the order you typed it out, disregarding where abouts you typed with document.

The device works perfectly with a PS/2 keyboard. When attempting to use a USB to PS/2 converter, the keyboard would not function at all, however the device clearly states that the device won't work properly with USB keyboards with adapters, as the device was never intended for it. The keyboard can be used with a USB keyboard if the PS/2 keyboard is removed from the keylogger whiles the PC is still turned on and the keylogger remains in the PC, then attaching the USB keyboard + adapter, however this must be repeated after every restart.

The device's text output can be adjusted to fast, medium or slow. The device offers two types of information output, normal for simple date-stamped keystrokes, or a detailed output that lists all keystrokes besides letters and numbers e.g. F12, ALT, Ctrl, ect.

The reason as to why I'm not giving this a 5-star rating, is the reliability of the time stamp feature, is poor. When the computer is powered down, the keylogger will no longer be supplied with power, resetting the device's internal clock. Fortunately, the device will keep all text in chronological order, despite the clock being reset.
