First, the good points , The birds in my garden love these meal worms you need to place htem in a deep enough dish ,because the little blighters can crawl albeit very slowly up the side best to put them out for the birds in about April so that new born reap the benefit .

Bad point is the way they are delivered in a plastic type sack ,
I think this method should be changed to a plastic container, I went out immediatly when the meal worms arrived and bought a plastic container, aprt from this the weather is cold enough so as you would not need to store them in a fridge ,

kept these mealworms in my garage fridge, they sustained a Robin family, Adults and chicks throughout their nesting period, the last handful was the day they fledged, brilliant, i'd like to think that the Robins only survived because of the mealworms as the ground was hard due to lack of rain!

I bought these to feed the robins and finches during the cold weather. They loved them! The worms were in prime condition but since then I have kept them in a warm room and some have started to pupate on the way to becoming beetles. I may let them breed and produce my own worms but in the meantime I thoroughly recommend this supplier.

Very good value for money, prompt delivery and a suprisingly large bag which has lasted well. We had Redstarts coming to them within hours of putting them out. Also Robin, Tree Sparrow, Blackbird and Nuthatches have taken them. Very pleased.
