I use this kettle about 10 times a day and the whistle is as good today as when it was purchased.
The colour is perfect for my kitchen but the outside has gone a brownish shade with use, as my kettle is light green it is visible but I would imagine this is not the case on darker colours.
I have reported this and the vendor service was excellent they definately deserve a 4 out of 5 for the speed in which they responded to my problem and they have offered me a full refund and further investigation into this matter, So I would not think twice about purchasing from them again.

Beat the bill rises & pay them as little as possible.
This kettle is small light weight,you can lift it by the handle when its boiled.

a great kettle - does just what you want- boils water and whistles when it boils!
not sure you could get the full 2.5 litres of water - tends to spill out of the spout if you over fill it.
lovely colour, and better quality than i was expecting for the price.
the handle doesn't get too hot.
