Most has been said in other reviews so just my experience having just used it for the first time.
Delivery was prompt. Filling it was a laugh, emptying it wasn't! I'm used to using a metal Jerry, have done for many years. I just thought I'd try a change
as these are cheaper and I thought might last longer, might be lighter, might even be easier.. ha ha.
So, At the pumps, I stuck the diesel nozzle in which only just fitted, pulled the trigger, all seemed well until POP! spurt! The pressure
had built up in the can because of the tight fit and then just exploded all over the place. (On the metal ones there's an air release) That was last week. Today I
attempted to get the contents out(now only 3/4 of a can). So on with the nasty little cheap spout and into the side of the car it went.
Or should I say over and down the side it went.... Not a very good or tight fit that cheap little spout. A little plumbers tape and some tightening later
I managed to get about half the contents in the car then nothing! Something I've never experienced with the metal ones.... The can was, how should I put it..
all sucked in. (Repeat: On the metal ones there's an air release) It took quite a bit of wiggling to get the rest of the contents down that cheap little spout. (Have I mentioned the spout?) Someone has said its fine for transporting fuel if the spout is not important and I would agree. How you get it in and out is another story. I would not recommend this for fuel, especially petrol though water should be fine. Now I'm off to buy another metal one.
