I have just bought a 3 meter length of these leads and noticed straight away, after fitting, that all the hissing and sound break up on my FM receiver had gone. I used this cable to connect my receiver to my tv loft aerial via a two way splitter. I certainly haven't been disappointed, these are excellent leads, and I am happy to recommend them.

Previously I had one of those cheap white cables, but eventually the plug snapped in half while trying to connect it to the TV. I could see how terribly it was constructed and knew I had to get a better cable.

With this cable now installed the signal quality is pretty much flawless and all my reception problems with the old cable are completely gone. Even though it's ten meters long and goes alongside a big bunch of other signal and power cables, I've never had any problems with this one. Navigating channels also seems faster than before.

Physically I was very impressed with the build quality. It's thicker and feels much higher quality than my old one. I used to struggle with connecting the old one, but this one was very easy and quick to connect.

It may not be the cheapest cable around, but it's definitely worth it, especially for longer cable runs. Highly recommended product.

These cables are made to a very high standard and are most definitely a cut above the rest.

I bought two, and I'm very pleased with them.

First off it must be said that Lindy manufacture high quality connection products - so this cabling certainly won't be the cheapest tv aerial cabling available. Cables and their connectors are their main products. Their business tagline `connection perfection' pretty much sums it up. Their products are all about obtaining the best connection for your electrical equipment. For audio and visual equipment, this relates to your picture and your sound.

To get the best out of your freeview or similar equipment, you need to transfer the signal from your aerial to your tv, without any further loss of the signal. As I learnt after installing a new aerial into the attic and subsequently setting up freeview in our frontroom, the cabling used is just as important as the quality of the aerial.

After experiencing a constantly varied picture across all of the numerous digital channels, ranging from sometimes almost a perfect picture, to digital pixelisation and freezing of the picture, to a black screen with the wording `no signal' frustratingly emblazoned across it; I decided to do something about it.

Firstly, after reading up on the best ways to improve the signal for your tv picture, I found out that its always advantageous to limit the length of all cabling used. So lesson one is to only ever purchase the cable length that you actually require and never more.

Secondly, use high quality gold plated coax cabling. Previously, we had been using thin white cabling (see cabling compared in the attached video) that we had picked up over the years, possibly free with various equipment we purchased or something. This was our main problem.

Well made, solid item, it is obviously high quality and at a good price. I have got a slight loss in picture quality but I believe that is to be expected when using an extension cable. I'm only using it while I decorate and am moving furniture around so I'm not to bothered by the loss of quality as I will have a new aerial cable fitted when I have finished. Despite this it was tons better than the white plastic ones sold by Maplin, I couldn't get a picture with them at all.

I love numbers as you can't really argue with them, and the numbers say it all!

With the old (out of the old VCR box) cable, on Freeview Channel 54, which is our weakest channel, our Humax reported 45 - 50% signal strength, now, with the new cable installed, that's up to 70 - 75% strength with absolutely no picture or sound disruption at all. That's what I call a result - completely recommended...

I'm a fan of these cables - they're great quality and do the job.

A couple of things to bear in mind though - the cable itself is much stiffer than some other aerial cables, Don't expect the cable to flex freely.

This can cause issues if there's limited space around the connection terminal, and may make the cable difficult to connect and disconnect.

Having experienced reception problems on Freeview, BUT ONLY non-BBC channels (i.e. ITV, Channel 4 etc, etc) I hoped this cable would be the solution. Unfortunately NOT! the results were no different or possibly worse.Maybe this is a good cable but very much depends on the quality of the cable you are replacing and the quality/strength of the signal from your antenna.
