Perfectly fine adaptor cable to get your video and stereo audio from DVD/Camcorder etc. to corresponding input types via RCA (aka phono) male type extension cables (composite vid and left & right audio). Standard wiring so plug and play. Not suitable for very recent iPods.
Purchased to record the output from a sound mixing desk, we connect the floating red RCA socket to an RCA plug equipped lead which comes from our mono mixed (L+R) sound desk output - before the left and right channels go to a power amplifier.
Using this lead, our recordings on an iPod are very good indeed: excellent quality. We can then produce sound files for our website which make you feel that you are there, they are so good. This is the lead to go for.
