Works perfectly on my laptop running Windows 7 64-bits. I did not install any drivers manually, just plugged the dongle into the USB port and Windows automatically installed the correct driver. I use the USB-IR dongle for synchronization with my Polar CS600; synchronization is fast and without any problems. As it is a very compact dongle, it is an ideal laptop accessory.

I have an Aladin Prime dive computer which I found the Windows XP dongle was not suitable with my new laptop using Windows 7.
This dongle just plugged in and I was able to download all my previous logged dives.

I bought this to work with my Polar S725X heart monitor and was a bit skeptical given that the Polar equivalent costs four times as much. However this works perfectly and has never skipped a beat whilst connecting to my watch.
Save yourself a shed load of money and buy this rather than the Polar dongle which is almost four times the price.

great IrDA USB key ... very small, compact and works perfectly well with Win7 64-bit.

USA IRda
Not transmiting from Polar to computer via IRda as claimed. I have Windows 7 32. Returned the item. Otherwise I cannot say how it works for other purposes.
