I looked at a variety of LCD TV's and eventually purchased the LG M2362D. The TV arrived via Amazon 1 day delivery and as ever...arrived perfect. The TV has a variety of computer connections though in truth..this TV is being used in the bedroom as a main TV. I tend to choose PC/TV models as there is pretty much always a 3 year onsite warranty. The LG has 3 years onsite warranty. I have seen lots of TV's lately, looked at a variety of designs but upon opening the packaging for the M2362D i was amazed..The TV looks stunning, the surround bezel finished in glossy black with discreet labelling on the outer edges regarding its many features such as Full HD.There is also a strip of red/burgundy translucent plastic along the bottom of the TV..it looks really nice, i was a bit worried that the red would be in your face colour but its not..its very dark kind of smokey burgundy in colour. This TV was so easy to set up, the manual is on a CD disc which was provided along with various cables to connect the TV to a PC etc. Very user friendly manual though it would have been nice to have a paper manual too. I just printed out the manual. I connected the TV to the outside antenna and DVD player via HDMI then powered up the TV. The onscreen prompts are easy to follow and the whole setup process took just minutes. The Integrated freeview tuner is powerful and it found all the available channels storing them perfectly. There is also a socket on the side of the TV to add an additional pay per view card for additional channels etc. I am amazed by the picture quality of this TV, colours are faithfully reproduced and are pin sharp as is the rest of the picture, blacks are very black. My neighbour has a Sony LCD TV and i have to say that the LG is better. I have seen on previous LCD TV's i have owned that sometimes pictures are not as good as a quality CRT TV but the LG is simply stunning, everything is pin sharp on this TV. Watching a DVD via my philips HD dvd player is breathtaking. One thing that did puzzle me about this TV and that was the buttons on the unit..i saw the symbols on the front of the TV for power on, volume, channel up and down etc but no actual buttons anywhere. I eventually sussed that these symbols are touch sensitive..they work great too. A nice touch from LG. The power on light situated at the bottom right of the unit is cobalt blue in colour, we like it very much but some of you will turn it off no doubt via the excellent menu system on the TV. During initial use and setup i did not need the manual at all,the menu system is easy to navigate and has many settings for picture, sound connections and tuner, lots of other settings too.The only time i used the manual was to learn the advanced picture settings. The sound is more than adequate for my needs, loud and clear, i have adjusted the sound to full bass and just over half treble and this works well for our ears. The sound on this TV is better than my philips LCD. As always with these TV's..dont expect thumping bass. You can always add extra speakers to the TV if so desired. Another nice feature is the auto brightness function..The LG adjusts the picture according to the surrounding light levels via a sensor on the front of the TV. IT works well. There are two HDMI sockets and 2 scart sockets on this TV along with RBG component connectors, a USB socket for displaying pictures, playing mp3.I have seen a hack on the web to make it play video via the USB too though i havnt tried it as my DVD player has this function. There is also a variety of sound sockets such as digital out, phono audio out, headphone socket etc. This TV has every socket i have seen on a TV, amazing really for the money. I like the LG very much and it works great, everything is tweakable to suit your own tastes and as already mentioned..The picture is stunning. So this is truly a "do it all" LCD TV and i dont think you would be dissapointed in this TV. Hope this info helps.
