As a TV this seems to work very well. It receives both Digital and Analogue channels where I live. The 'red-button' and text services work fine, and actually seem to be a little bit faster than on my other TV.

Sound quality is OK, there isn't very much bass but considering the size of the set it is perfectly acceptable.

As a computer monitor it also seems to work very well. I was worried about viewing angles, as it does not use an IPS screen, but the viewing angles are far better than my laptop. There are a lot of different picture adjustments, there are also 2 'expert' settings where you can go through a setup wizard which guides you through the process of adjusting different parameters to get the best picture.

I'm not sure whether the stand allows the set to be tilted up or down. I tried but either such adjustment is not possible or it is very stiff. Either way I didn't want to use too much force so I left it as it was, which was fine.

It can also play music, movies and photos via a memory card plugged into the USB port on the back of the set. Music and photos play without any problems. I don't have any Divx movies so I can't try the movie playing.

It comes with a fairly standard remote control. The manual and driver install file are included on a CD. I haven't used the driver files as it seems to work fine without them. I have checked the screen carefully using a piece of free software called CheckMon.exe and can't find any bad pixels.

Edit: The set can tilt up and down, but it is quite stiff. The set can play several video formats via the USB connector, not just Divx.

I originally intended on getting a Samsung P2270HD but ended up getting this on impulse really, thought the LED was worth the extra money. The standard picture is great from about +1.5 meters away. The EPG is easy and intuitive to use with a good selection of channels. Mainly bought it for my PS3 though, and this is where it really comes alive! The LED picture is amazing with the 5Million to one contrast ratio and full 1080p resolution. It is definitely worth the extra £50 or so over normal LCD televisions, great buy!

EDIT- 3 months later and things aren't good. The HDMI ports both stopped picking up signals from the PS3, even though the PS3 worked with 2 other TVs. This went back was replaced with another LG M2280D, however within 1 month thick white horizontal bars started appearing on the screen on all inputs. This rendered the whole thing useless and had to go back aswell. However this time I asked for my money back and replaced it with a Samsung XL2370HD from Amazon. So far this is working fine, looks great and has better picture and sound quality. I would avoid the LG M2280D at all costs if possible as is seems VERY unreliable

For the money this TV is hands-down the best buy available. I use it for a TV / PC Monitor in the office. The LG M2280D 22 inch is a full HD LED TV with a stylish 22 inch flat-screen TV that offers 1080p High Definition and a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Every colour explodes on your screen! The picture quality is stunning be it on Freeview, DVD or via the USB connection at the back.

The spec includes:

- 1080P
- 5,000,000:1Contract Ratio
- Connections: USB port, SVGA input for PC connectivity, component and composite video inputs, two HDMI connectors, speaker out
- Wall-mountable
- LED backlit
- Dolby Surround X sound that gives you a great cinema feeling
- Built-in digital Freeview tuner
- 1920 x 1080 screen resolution.

I have had this TV for about a month and a half and I am loving it, it has become my new baby. As I play a lot of video games I wanted a 1080p TV but not to large and this seemed to fit the bill. As well as Xbox 360 I have used it for movies, my computer, a old Xbox and just normal TV and it has been great for all those things. One thing I did notice, when you are not using hdmi the volume seems very low but despite that, I give it a definite 5 stars.
