Got this surround sound system because , the right up said it would meet all my needs , it does and surpasses them , great sound , the I- pod dock is great . The thing I would say is that it might not be suitable if you have young children , I have a 2 year old and soon realised that the tall boy speakers would be ruined as all the speaker cones are easily accessible and irrisistable to little fingers so I ended up mounting the speakers on the walls to keep it all out the way , not really the products fault but worth mentioning .

Purchased this when it was at the lower price of 349.99 and after testing out various other home cinemas in this price range I settled on this one and was not disappointed. The speakers are very easy to put together, instructions clear and precise (although the box is quite heavy, i'm a pretty big guy and found it moderately heavy). The whole system looks great, the blu ray player is on the large side I would say but not inconveniently so. The touch sensitive buttons on the blu ray player work excellently and effortlessly. The picture when playing blu rays is immaculate, cannot fault it. The sound is amazing whether playing through the blu ray player or spdif via a computer although I will mention that you shouldn't expect proper 5.1 from your computer's sound card unless you have some sort of emulator or the files are in 5.1 format to begin with. The equalizers that are built into the player are great, although I only really use the bass booster and the night one (the bass booster is so powerful I ended up having to turn the sub down).
All in all, excellent value for money and an excellent product delivered quickly and put together with ease.

Hey, I'm big fan of music, since being young I've always had a decent setup with seperates, I use to love them, my speakers blew & never investted in a new pair for my seperates system. Then one day a little while ago I bought a LG 3D Infinia 60" TV, this led me forward to wanting my old sound system back, which was immensely powerful & I'd long missed it. After doing some research reading forums & reviews I noticed this set had won last years Best 5.1 EISA award which you can find on youtube. So here I am with a system that integrates perfectly with my TV and gives me a sound & picture quality that won't make me miss my old system. One optical wire one hdmi wire and its playing everything hooked up on to my TV, a Ps3 a PC, virgin HD box & HD Digital Satelite box, no need to connect anything seperately just one optical wire from TV to this device. 3 word conclusion, Quality, Value for money, easy... :))
