Does the job well 1 Mar 2011

I've been really pleased with this drive its meets my requirement for which I bought it.

It is near silent in use and I really like the curvy design, much better than a number of the square box alternatives.

I've seen this drive also comes in white or red as well, sure that will tick a box for some people.

I can't comment on the experience that another reviewer has had as I haven't come into any difficulties.

Don't Buy 1 Feb 2011
I got one of these for myself and one for my daughter both dvd writers stopped working after about 11 months and when I contacted LG about it I was just given the brush off. DON'T Buy rubbish product and rubbish customer service.

I'm really happy with this drive it looks really smart and does the job well.

Yes I know there cheaper alternatives but they are only a couple of pounds cheaper and "B" brand.

Using this burner for a couple of weeks now I have really good success using Verbatim DVD-R 43549. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Verbatim-43549-DVD-R-4-7GB-Pack/dp/B000BEZYLA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299849041&sr=8-1

I would recommend this burner 100%
