Had this monitor for about a month now, no problems. clear image and easy to install.
Have not got the resolution quite right yet but that is my lack of knowledge not a fault on the monitor.
This will be the second monitor from LG and have had nothing but comlete satisfaction from the first and am expecting the same from this one.

Quality Monitor for Little Money 11 Aug 2011

Chose this monitor to replace my aging 15" CRT and I'm so glad I did.

Doddle to set up; just plugged it in & changed resolution (XP Pro OS). I did need to adjust the contrast & brightness from the factory settings, but once I did the display was perfect. Another reviewer mentioned having no symbols above the buttons, but by pressing the first menu button a display of what the buttons do appear onscreen above them.

I've given the monitor a test watching BBC iPlayer, Avi/DivX files and Dvds and was more that impressed. It tilts nicely, the screen is clear and has a good view angle, and it looks tidy. All-in-all it's a brilliant little monitor ,made by a quality company, ideal for a home-office, study or, in my case, a corner of the bedroom.

LG E1940S 18.5inch monitor

Once I upgraded my pc I found the performance of the LG E1940S took on a new level. Very impressed, but choose carefully if you have an older pc and graphics card.

Excellent monitor

I bought this for a neighbour who wanted to upgrade from an old CRT.

Good screen

This is a good screen, although the resolution isn't amazing, but is as it says. note that it does come with a vga cable, so dont buy one like i did unless you need some length

Disappointing purchase

Now that I have the LGE1940S 18.5 inch VGA monitor working it is ok. But when I installed it on my computer the software crashed the computer and caused me to loose a lot of stuff... Read more
