I picked up one of these for a relative who wanted a small and nothing fancy Blu-ray and DVD player. The LG is a simple no frills player, no smart functions here (wired or wireless), just a normal player but with the addition of a front USB port which is handy to have for USB sticks and hard drives.

Pros:
+ Small size for a Blu-ray player about 27cm wide and 20cm deep approx it's a good bit smaller than most players
+ Picture and sound quality are good with 1080p Upscaling for DVD's doing a decent job too
+ Drive is fairly quiet in operation (unlike some makers I've used)
+ Front USB can be used for Hard drives and USB sticks to play other media it supports most common file formats audio and video: Xvid, MP4, MKV, WMV, AVCHD etc (you can also play MP3/WMA music files off a disc) as well as photos

Cons:
- Nothing fancy here..if you want a smart player look somewhere else, (no LAN no browser)
- No supplied HDMI cable, these are cheap enough but makers should start putting them in the box

HDD support is for drives up to 1TB. Region 2 player so bear this in mind if you have multi region discs.

Output is HDMI only nothing else, you do get a remote included... the front panel of the player has only a few controls (power on/off and disc eject/load) Blu-ray discs took about 15-20 seconds to load, not bad for a budget player though not as fast as some higher priced models.

Both sound and picture quality are good, even DVD's looked sharp on a full HD TV.
For a fairly low cost smaller budget player the LG fits the bill quite nicely.

Very easy to install via a HDMI cable to TV, simple, plug into mains job done, turn on by remote, 30 second setup, then ready to go. Very compact, well impressed 10 inches wide by about one & half inch high, no noise when playing a DVD disc the picture is amazing & the small remote is well easy to use.
It has a USB port at the front of the unit to allow remote media playing, I plugged in a portable hard drive & it plays the videos perfectly, well easy to scroll through videos via DVD menu.

No fuss, no nonsense. Simple to use basic Blu-ray player with a power connector (adapter & cord supplied) and HDMI connector on the rear (no spare clutter), and on the front is a disc slot (for Blu-rays, DVDs & CDs) and a USB port (for external media drives - flash or HDD, reads both NTFS & Fat32 drive formats and a good assortment of video, audio & picture file types). Comes with a dinky little remote, or I can just use the TV remote. Just what I wanted, just what I got. The menu is also fairly easy to navigate if and when necessary.

Got this for my nan as I needed something that did what it said on the tin.
Took it through customs in my hand luggage no issue and its light.
Set up in 2 seconds even my nan can use it.

If you're looking for a player that does all the basics well then buy this. I also linked the remote control to my LG TV remote, so I don't have 2; and I says this can also work with other manufacturers remotes. Also, very compact for fitting into tight spaces.

I had to return this player as i bought it because it had a usb port so i wanted to watch films straight off a usb key. I went through about 5 usb memory sticks and the player could not detect any of them, they were formatted the standard fat32 or not atall so should have worked. A blu ray player with a usb port that can't read or detect usb keys?? What a joke. I didn't even bother trying the blu ray disc player because of it.
