This is a really good product. I bought it to go with my new LG 3d TV and the sound is fantastic. Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3d, and DVD all play nicely on this system. I have also streamed music and video from my computer to the living room with great sound quality. My only gripe is that I don't think this Blu Ray player supports ARC (audio return channel). However, that is easily overcome with a £2 optical digital cable so that I can also have the sound from my TV going through the speakers. Connecting to the internet has been easy after purchasing ethernet plugs. All in all, very pleased.

For anyone wondering if this is the right home theatre system, it tick's all the boxes. Not only a BD player with 5.1 surround, but a stylish and compact set of quality speakers and sub-woofer. It has optical input, so you can connect your tv (optical out) and enjoy fantastic audio quality with absolutely anything you have on TV including general broadcast and anything else plugged into the TV like a games console or USB data. Don't stop, get an optical switch + 3x optical cables so you can connect your 5.1 surround devices direct to BDH9000 for outstanding sound experience. Now play your console with realism so good you can hear things behind you ! Just one problem, all those films you watched before you had a 5.1 system... you'll want to watch them all again and experience the stunning audio. Finished ? No !!! There's more, connect internet and stream anything from another computer on your network. Watch internet stream (eg BBC i-player), view photo's, plug in USB and watch Divx movies etc. This is a stunning piece of kit. Is it right for you ?? I hope this helps and you get out as much as I do :)

Bought this to replace a more expensive Samsung 2.1 BD system.
Having just spent a decent whack on an LG 55" TV I didn't want to break what remained of the bank to get 5.1 to go with it.
The sound is excellent and very easy to adjust to match your mood ...or your neighbors absense :)
LG Simplink makes controlling the unit easy so that the TV controls the volume when you are listening to sky channel over the toslink fibre connection. I haven't tried a 3D BD yet but picture quality from 1080p BD is top notch.
On real down sides are a lack of HDMI inputs and seemingly no audio channel return over HDMI but at this price somethings got to give.
