How Does 3D TV Work?
Creating 3D TV images involves mimicking the way that our eyes work in normal life. As our eyes are about three inches apart, each eye sees a slightly different perspective of our surroundings and the brain merges these two images together, using the difference to calculate depth. So, 3D TV recreates this process by showing two slightly different images and using special glasses to separate them.

The future of TV,

OK, this is a very expensive TV, and 3D is still very new, and wasnt really on my agenda. The TV arrived very quickly, was unboxed eagerly and quickly bolted to the wall. It is large, admittedly, but very, very slim, and no heavier than the 42 inch plasma that it replaced. Fitted to the same standard budget bracket as the old one so that was easy. Simple to set up, very intuitive. I connected it to my network using a standard ethernet cable and the Netcast feature is pretty cool. However, the point is, the picture is simply stunning. I wouldnt have thought the human eye could spot the difference but the 400hz together with the full array LED system produces a picture that is literally life like on HD sources. Watched a few recent blu rays (Inception first) and was extremely impressed. As to 3D; havent really yet got anything to produce a 3D picture but the active glasses are cool and as a bonus fit over your specs if you wear them. Waiting anxiously for my 3d blu ray player but really, if you want probably the best TV picture, treat yourself!

I must of had a duff one.On the original delivery, the 3D glasses were missing. It took me 10 days to sort out only to find out that they were not included in the box! Two faults;expansion noises and yellow flashes on the 3D glasses. The expansion noises: Every minute, the TV makes a expansion/contraction noise. Put the TV on mute and there are these noises repeated for hours after switch on. Yellow flashes: Watching 3d TV, the glasses experience a yellow flash every few minutes. One pair of glasses are worse than the other. It's like lightning on the specs. Fair doze to Amazon, I am hot swapping the TV on Wednesday the 16/20/2011. I think my TV was a Friday afternoon jobbie.

This Television is amazing! Excellent quality! The picture is crystal clear. This Tv is the Mother of all Tv's. Nuff said..
