I have recently purchased this 50" flat screen and can say that the quality of the HD when viewed via the HDMI cable link is first rate.
Had a little trouble setting up the Freeview and still wondering if I have this right as some of the channels leave a lot to be desired. Overall I have no fears in recommending this great TV

Best Design Ever. This i a great priced 50 inch plasma i have had no problems at all i have had it for 2 years now still no problems. I have noticed that the clarity of the picture from the freeview is amazing. There is no pixles stretched so close to hd freeview. plus i moved last year and got a little scratch on the bottom left corn when i turned the screen on it literly vanished, i could only see it if i went closer than foot with my head. NOT ONLY IS IT A GREAT TV IT IS WHAT EVER MAN AND SOME WOMEN TALK OUT AS SOON AS THEY WALK IN.
