The LG LE5300 LED TV series provides Full HD 1080p picture quality with an ultra slim design in a wide range of screen sizes as well as having TruMotion 100Hz and a USB connection for access to your favourite pictures, music and videos. LED

I purchased this set to replace a 42" Plasma I had for many years. After a lot of research and testing decided to go for the LED option. I went to my local chain retailer and they were showing this set using a normal low definition feed through the aerial socket so it looked just like any other LCD TV. I asked them to plug a blue-ray player in (after some reluctance they decided customer knows best) and wow what a stunning picture giving an ultra sharp almost 3D effect. So now I have had the set for a week and have my PS3, Xbox360, HD Freesat plugged into it and I can't stop smiling. For the price it is a bargain, was originally looking at sets that were 2000 plus in price for the same performance/ spec. Sound is very good considering how thin the screen is but I am mostly sending everything through my surround amp. Standard picture quality is good but as with all HDTV use HD Freesat or HD Freeview to get an improvement. It has a matte screen which is far better than my old glass plasma as there is very little reflection from the windows. Very surprised that the audio visual press have not picked up on this set....

Not too pleased with the `Intelligent Sensor 2 Switched `ON` at `Picture Menue-- had to leave it Switched OFF, if you don`t Screen becomes too DARK. Otherwise TV is good, dead easy to SETUP.
This TV is big in size and gives you good contrast. It is very bad for gaming, and quite bad for watching HD movies.So buy one with 240Hertz or more of motion flow so that the frames are refreshed at a faster rate and you get less blurring.

Top LED and bargin price
The LED is thin as your small finger, this is the latest model with HD Freesat. I hunted around for a week or so on price and Amazon came out cheapest. great service. Thanks Guys
