LG TV Intelligent Sensor Technology built-in. View Larger

TruMotion 100Hz
TruMotion 100Hz can reduce blurring on fast moving scenes by
displaying one hundred images per second. Standard TV sets only display fifty images per second so more information means higher quality.

Intelligent Sensor
The TV picture automatically adjusts when room conditions change Intelligent Sensor optimises the brightness, sharpness, colour and contrast of the picture within your viewing environment. This helps to protect against eyestrain, and the TV will use up to 69.5% less power (TUV tested).

USB
Quickly transfer photographs and music to your TV. The USB 2.0 feature allows you to connect a USB mass storage device to your LG product in order to play audio (MP3) files and display JPEG images.

DivX HD Playback
Experience your own pictures, movies and music in high quality. Digital content can be played back via the TV or wall mounted DVD player’s USB connection. The latest music you’ve downloaded, the moments you’ve captured on camera and the movies you missed - they  can all be viewed in the comfort of your home with a LG TV with DivX HD.

Bluetooth
Link mobile phones, headsets and more to your TV, wirelessly with integrated Bluetooth technology. View your favourite snaps and listen to your favourite music from your mobile phone as well as watching TV without interrupting others with a Bluetooth wireless headset.

Invisible Speaker
The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field. This speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

Energy Saving Recommended
LG TVs help you save money and the environment. An Energy Saving Recommended Integrated Digital Television (IDTV) can save around £7 a year and 20 kilograms of CO2 each year compared to a similar TV and set top box; they are amongst the most efficient in their class. There are over 16 million terrestrial digital TV receivers in the UK, and if these were upgraded to IDTVs it would save around £112 million in energy bills.

With energy-saving features such as ‘Video Mute’, mechanical power-off switch and ‘Intelligent Sensor’, LG has one of the largest ranges of TVs registered to the Energy Saving Trust’s Energy Saving Recommended scheme. To gain entry to the Energy Saving Recommended scheme products have to meet strict criteria to ensure that they are amongst the most efficient in the market place. Check www.est.org.uk for more information.

Big clear picture, as expected. Things that have disappointed me are: sound is very tinny (even with bass at max), no audio out other than digital (so no option for active sub-woofer), when playing DivX cannot hear movie unless volume whacked up to 100% (then MUST remember to turn down before stopping else will blow windows out). Stand is wobbly (obviously expected to be wall mounted as stand feels like it's going to give way). Finally, TV does not auto-detect inputs, so when changing from DVD to Sat, have to use remote to toggle inputs.
