HD Ready 1080p
LG HD Ready 1080p (Full HD) provides 1920 x 1080p picture resolution Delivering incredible picture clarity and vibrant colours. This results in up to 5 times the picture clarity and detail in comparison to standard definition. 1080p television is the only way to fully experience the true potential of high definition gaming and Blu-ray, taking you even closer to the action.

AV Mode
LG TVs have three special modes (Cinema, Sport and Game modes) for enhanced picture and audio quality. These are easily accessible using the AV MODE hot key on the remote control. Cinema Mode - Watch movies with vivid colour, smoother motion and cinematic sound effect. Sport Mode – Takes you closer to the action by emphasising the main colours and reducing motion blur. Game Mode – Optimises the TV for computer and / or games console for a more dynamic gaming experience.
Freeview/Digital
With LG, you’ll be ready for the digital switchover. By 2012, all areas of the UK will receive TV in digital as opposed to analogue. Freeview is a subscription free service which brings up to 48 digital TV channels including ITV2, E4, BBC3, and Film4, plus 24 digital radio stations, no contract and no satellite dish.

Invisible Speaker
The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field. This speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

I purchased this the other week and find it an excellent tv. It took me 10mins to setup and that inclued taking it out of the box and tunning it in :) I was originally going to give it 4 stars due to the limited options for audio output (1x optical), it would have been nice to have some phono audio out sockets so I could connect to my dated surround system. I have given it 5 stars due to the fact that the usb socket can be enabled which lets you watch movies, listen to mp3 & view photo's.

Prompt delivery, and easy to set up. After some research the best price is from Amazon at the moment. Nice looking TV. Lovely clear picture and excellent sound quality. Surround & stand are glossy rather than matte, so show the dust quite a lot. Remote a bit cheap looking.

This TV replaces a 4-year old LG 26" LCD TV and this one is a big improvement.
It's hard to choose between the similar LH372000, 3000 and 4000. I settled on this one (3000) because I didn't think I'd need the 100Hz mode of the 4000 and I was happy with the price of this one. I might have been able to make do with the 2000 because the main difference seems to be that it has 2 HDMI sockets instead of the 3 on the 3000. Regardless, the picture on the 3000 is stunning - I use it with an LG BD370 Blu Ray player and an XBox 360 in 1080p and both look superb. I use a Sony amplifier which sounds way better than the built-in speakers, but they're not totally terrible. Hard to fault the TV in any way really. I've just bought a Logitech Harmony 515 remote which replaces the 5 other remotes that were cluttering up my living roonm. Recommended for anyone who has lots of AV equipment in their lounge.
