This TV is for a great bargain price, as I bought it in Dixons for £399. It has Full HD picture, all connectors I might need(eg 3xHDMI, VGA, 2xSCART, S-Video, audio in and out...) and a beautiful design. It also has the XD engine which automatically upscales your DVD or Freeview (integrated tuner) picture, and therefore it looks much better than on other TVs.
I used VGA cable to connect it to my laptop, as the laptop does not have HDMI, and changed the TV to a full HD monitor. If you just read something on the internet, watch DVDs or play games - it all looks fantastic!
The only thing is that the TV is recognized on Vista as a non-pnp generic monitor, and therefore it did not allow me to set it to a better resolution than 1600x1025. However, I allowed the using of other so called "unsupported" resolutions in my display settings, where I chose the FULL HD 1920x1080 and it works great now.
The sound is good but for those, who it is not good enough for, can use digital or analogue connectors for their audio systems.
Obviously, in this price category you do not get 100Hz picture or coal-black blacks but at the price there would be hardly anything better!
