We took quite a while to decide on a new television to replace our recently deceased one from various sources, there is such a wide choice for 32" at good money.
One of our favourites was LG and finally decided on this one from Amazon and are very glad we did. Firstly Amazon are fairly reliable for service which was a bonus, fitting the base was easy - please note you will need a long-ish philips screwdriver to attach it it took me ages to find something around the house/garage which was long enough but also with a narrow metal bit, if you get what I mean) Anyway, the base is nice and big so its plenty sturdy (we have cats) plenty of plugs on the back (the USB is a bonus - who does know where the lead for the camera is anyway?) and a nice and neat cable tidy, we have 3 games consoles and a bt vision box all plugged in. The hidden speaker design is very nice, it probably looks better than my parents' Sony which has it along the bottom of the screen frame, the frame is very pleasing to the eye nice and glossy (DO NOT USE DETTOL OR PLEDGE TO GIVE IT A NICE CLEAN AFTER INSTALLING - IT LEAVES WATER TYPE MARKS AND I AM AN IDIOT FOR NOT READING THE INSTRUCTIONS WHICH SAY WATER ONLY). The sound is excellent with more than enough options to fiddle with to get it to your liking, the picture is superb with again good options for personal preference I think we have it on cinema all the time. We also got an HDMI cable to use for our freeview box, now I'm not one for technology and 'full HD' doesnt mean much to me however, what a difference it makes! The image is so crisp, I found it a particular pleasure to watch the Brazilian GP on it, the cars looked fantastic especially the onboard footage, I could pick out details I couldnt before. We've had no interference to the picture, not even from the terrible weather recently which has been an issue in the past. This is only our second flat screen tv so I may appear over excited compared to other people but it is outstanding value for money. Its probably also worth mentioning our lounge is only small and this is perfect in the corner, I think some people have criticised the sound on LG's which may be relative to the size of the room? I certainly have no complaints even on the Xbox without HDMI its fantastic. The standby light I think is quite nice although I can imagine some might say its a bit big, about and inch across, think knight rider. This is money well spent for us, we dont have a lot so its nice to feel we have spent wisely. Highly Recommended.

A TV that exceeds in all that it does. A great natural colour is achievable with the use of the on screen wizard, and the on screen captions and menues are sharp and readable even if you are sitting some distance away from the tv. The sound is very clear with good volume. The remote control becomes quite easy to get the hang of and the raised and contoured buttons are a bonus finding your way around the facilities it offers.
A great 32" tv at a great price. The excellent picture belies the fact that this is a 32" screen and the size of the tv does`nt dominate the room.

After much research, this was our decided buy. Excellent picture - great control with colour, horizontal and vertical bars and LOVE the "Clear Voice". We had an old Sony prior to this, and the sound was excellent. However, with the flat screen, you can't get that "surround sound" without speakers and a sub woofer. Slight vibration but otherwise very good. Would recommend. Easy set up and I've managed to get it linked to our old set box so we can record whilst watching another channel on freeview! Slight problem with the remote - the left arrow sticks - however that might be just ours and I'm going to ask LG about it. Overall, excellent TV - our first LCD.
