I bought this after having 2 polaroid HD 19" TFT TV's and both suffered from a buzz from the speakers which was really annoying when you had the volume on low. So went for this because i've had LG stuff before and it has always been good quality.
Overall so far i'm impressed, theres no buzz, it was easy to setup and has good customisation options, which is needed cos out the box the picture settings aren't great. Sound obviously isn't amazing but they never are with screens this size, but its better than the Polariods sound.
The remote is a good quality and it works with Sky+ remotes, you need code 206! i have a Rev 8 remote, but should work with earlier models.
I don't have HD TV as yet, cos its not worth it, so I'm reviewing this on standard Sky+ and using the second output, so Co-ax input not Scart, but picture is still good, if you look at it from really close then it looks a bit blocky, but i have it about 8-9 feet from me in my bedroom and looks OK. I haven't seen any movement shudder from it yet and I watched the Grand Prix on it!
I got this TV for £249, substantially less than it is on Amazon, most places sell it for that price including Comet and Argos, and for that price its good value for a HD TV, the others around are OK, but i prefer to buy from a known manufacturer.

Good and bad!, 11 Jan 2008
Great looking, and a good picture. BUT the sound quality is awful.. tinny, thin, unrealistic... everything is wrong. Tried all the settings, and manual setting, and you simply cannot get decent sound. Bad for music, bad for speech, etc. If you buy this, you have been warned... it sounds like a 1950s cheap radio....shame, as otherwise its a nice set.

I bought this after reading a few reviews, some of which commented that sound quality wasn't great.
The tv arrived and it looks great the fit and finish is very nice, connected it up, turned it on and he sound was rubbish, fiddled around for ages but could not get any decent sound from it. The panel is also not great with very uneven backlighting, it has very noticeable brighter patches at the top and bottom of the screen.
This TV is rubbish, packaged it back up and sent it back and put my good old sony crt back.
If anyone is still looking to buy this TV also be aware it is not wall mountable.
Please dont waste you're money!!!
