Consisting of a police headquarters building, a van for the transport of criminals, an ATV fast response vehicle and a handful of mini figures, the LEGO World City Police HQ is sure to provide hours of entertainment for children of all ages (including those over 30!).
With more than 400 bricks, including some rather excellent gold bars, the act of building the contents of this kit will idle away a good many hours, but with its combination of sleek-lined vehicles and a comedy robber figure, the real fun's bound to come after construction is complete.
As you would expect from LEGO, the picture-only construction diagrams are concise and to the point with only a couple of points where it's difficult to see what's going on.
The build quality and variety of the bricks included is high and there's even a small sheet of transfers to apply to the vehicles and buildings for that "authentic" law enforcement look and feel.
With each new-themed release, LEGO's product moves further and further away from the 70s and 80s square block construction with many shaped and chamfered pieces that build up to create solid looking toys capable of withstanding punishment from the toughest of playtime sessions--top stuff indeed. --Chris Russell
