Both my 5 year old boy and me think this toy is brilliant! It is easy to make, has an exciting pull-back feature (though it invariably shoots into furniture and breaks into pieces!! But hey, the joy of lego is putting it back together again). The buzz and woody characters are very cute, and the rocket has endless play opportunities. A tad expensive, but worth it for the amount of play time we have had.

This is a 92 piece build which reconstructs Woody, Buzz and RCs attempt to get back to Andy.
There are 2 mini figures:
- Buzz Lightyear with rocket
- Woody
Building the RC car is relatively easy. It is not a very big vehicle build and it is remarkably straightforward to construct. The finished result is remarkably like the RC car in the movie. I'll be honest, I've fallen for RC.
RC is not only a good looking car but he has a motor which allows you to pull the vehicle backwards and then, when you let it go, it zooms forward - and it can travel at a rate of knots too.
At the RRP it makes it just over 16 pence per piece, so if you can get the kit cheaper then you are getting better value for money.
Older children will be able to handle this on there own, but younger ones will need a hand with it.
Overall, it is a superb little set and the two mini figures and RC car are wonderful to look at and have great playability.

Bought this as a present for a 5 year-old and it was extremely popular.
The ages on the box are 6-12, which is probably about right, as I had to take over most of the making. That being said, it's been quite robust ever since and has lasted the 3 weeks it's been used for without me putting it back together again!
Excellent for fans of both Lego and the toy Story films.

good present for 5 year old
Was very pleased with Lego Woody and Buzz to the rescue. Nice strong toy. Car with friction engine so can be whizzed along. Toy Story a favourite and thought this toy well done.

Fabulous
Great Lego product. Fantastic little motor on the car - you only need to drag it back a couple of inches and it zooms off. Lovely little Buzz and Woody figures. Highly recommended.
