Star Wars and the LEGO Group join forces for this all-new animated adventure.
A routine Jedi Academy field trip is turned into a rip-roaring comic adventure in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Tour guide Master Yoda leads a group of rambunctious Jedi younglings through Senate chambers when he senses a disturbance in the Force. Summoned to help save the Republic, he discovers that one of the younglings, Ian, has secretly boarded his ship... and young Ian has a taste for adventure! Meanwhile, C-3PO and R2-D2 are put in charge of the boisterous group and find themselves in over their heads. As the evil Sith prepare to wreak havoc, it's up to Yoda and the Droids to ensure that their young charges aren't torn to bits.

Yes it is 21 mins long, and it is really an info-mercial to advertise the Lego Star Wars range, but it is very good nonetheless. The animation is great and Star Wars and Lego have been cleverly combined to give something that is the best of both worlds.
That said, this DVD is £4 in Tesco, so the price on Amazon is charging (currently £12.75) is a complete rip-off for a 21 minute DVD - this is worth owning but don't buy this from Amazon ............

The extras feature two "Star Wars in two minutes" clips that are fantastic - I immediately got the story and the plot in 120 seconds and can now chat to my 5 year old son about Star Wars!

Format:3.5" and 5.25" disks
Didn't realise it was such a short film, but the kids found it very funny and have watched it many times already.

Too short
21 minutes for £5, when it is regularly on TV was a mistake. I recommend that you do not purchase this unless your kids are Star Wars nuts and live somewhere it is not on TV... Read more

Great Value (not online.though)
I saw this is Home and Bargain for £2.99 so picked one up for a birthday present. Glad I didnt spend all this money on it as its only 21 mins long but feeling I have a bargain. Read more

Very disappointed 8 year old
My 8 year old saved up his pocket money to get this DVD. I hadn't realised it was only 21 minutes long. Whilst the content was very good it seems a complete rip off at the price. Read more

good film but short in length
