This is a set from "Ambush", part of season 1 of the Clone Wars cartoons (Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Season 1 [DVD] [2008]), where Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to the planet Orto Plutonia to investigate the disappearance of the local clone trooper force.
The set itself consists of Anakin's vehicle, the Freeco speeder, as well as Anakin and the chief of the native Taiz, who resent all invasions to their homeworld. The vehicle is a straight-forward build and my six year old managed it quite well with a little help from Grandad. The Anakin figure is considered by my son to be rather cool, as he is dressed in his snow gear and so is different to the other Anaking minifigs that come with other sets. The Taiz chieftan, with his spear, is well detailed and looks a lot like the cartoon version.
My son likes the speeder, but it hasn't stayed within the Clone Wars universe of sets as he prefers to use it with his Hoth battles. And I guess that it's a drawback that there are no other sets that this combines well with from the Clone Wars. However, his imagination doesn't really care about that, and he is quite content having Anakin take on Imperial snowtroopers with Luke and Han and the Taiz chief is quite happy with his friend the Wampa!!

My 5 year old loves this. Some of it is hard to put together for a 5 yr old. It is recommended for a 7 yr old. The lego is a great design.
