Arrived within 48 hours of ordering (delighted) and my 9 year old son constructed both podracers all by himself within a couple of hours - he is absolutely thrilled with this set and loves it. Saw this set in Legoland but was on offer for £20 cheaper with Amazon - so ordered from Amazon instead.

A great set, really captures the podracers from episode 1, fanstatic detail on the minifigures and the podracers. Great value at the current price.

I only paid £57.99 for this when the apparent RRP is £81.99, so first of all excellent value! It's Lego and it's Star Wars, so of course it's fun, and the instructions are, as with all Lego, easy-to-follow. I do have a few minor points for criticism, however. They don't appear too robust (which I believe another reviewer mentioned), but I think that's a lot to do with the shape of the pods, so I suppose it had to be that way. On the other hand, the stand that you build for them are very clever and hold them well for display, so if you're not actually playing with them then they'll be fine. Anakin's pod is a bit of a let-down compared to Sebulba's, but in the film I think Anakin's pod is a little less impressive, so perhaps that's deliberate. Sebulba's pod is fantastic! Very well detailed. And I found Watto's figure very impressive as well. Simple, but effective. Would definitely recommend this set for any Lego / Star Wars fan.

great to build
It took me a while to make but I really enjoyed it.
If you play with it it does fall apart sometimes.
The best one is Sebulbas podracer - written by Joshua age 7.
