I bought this product about a month ago. At first glance it doesn't look that impressive but after a closer look it seems a lot better.
This product isn't very hard to make, there's a few tricky bits, but it really isn't that hard to make.
The minifigs are really cool, my favorite is the droid. The imperial pilot is good as well, I think there should be a bit more detail on his head though because when you take his helmet of (which I do alot, he just looks weird.)
One of the best features is the rotating wings. If you look at the picture you will see the wings are like pointing up and down so it's impossible to land, well the wings rotate round so that you can land.
So here's the good things and the bad things:

Bought this for my 5 year old, i made it as it's a bit trcky for him, now it's sitting on the sideboard untouched, as soon as you play with it you know it's going to end up as a pile of bricks and forgotten! maybe better for old children.

Lego - you just can't go wrong!
Only quibble would be the price, but hell .. my kid loves it, so it was worth it! You just can't beat Lego!

Lego Star Wars 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter
My grand son loves this! Educational, fires the imagination and gives hours of fun. Would recommend this product without hesitation.
