Product Description

Lego Star Wars 4489 Mini-AT-AT Walker from "The Empire Strikes Back" is a miniature version of the AT-AT Walker. It is one in the series of Mini Building Sets from Lego. Extra pieces are included in this set, as with purchases of three additional (4488, 4490, and 4491) sets. Collecting all four sets, and combining the extra pieces included, allows you to build the bonus MINI Y-Wing. It was a formidable behemoth war machine of the Imperial fleet. The AT-AT standing at a staggering height of 22.5 meters, was a heavily armored vehicle. Although, a slow moving machine, nevertheless, it struck fear in hearts of the enemy. Most certainly a force to be reckoned with, demoralizing the enemy and literally crushing everything in its path. The AT-AT was used to transport Imperial troops and light vehicles into the combat zone. It can accommodate up to forty Stormtroopers or Imperial Assault Troopers and five Speeder bikes.

Verified Purchase
I will not be buying anything else from this vendor in the future.. Couldn't believe my eyes when my Grandson opened the small box and I saw how little Lego there was for almost £40. looked around after he opened the present but couldn't find any evidence of this item any longer by any vendor nor could I locate the original vendor ( trendytoyz?). Once bitten, more than two times shy

Target That Generator 12 Mar 2004
By Joshua Koppel - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Star Wars mini vehicles allow users to create vast scenes from the movies without spending thousands of dollars. Each new model has at least one special piece so that you won't be able to duplicate it exactly by using other pieces in your collection.
The AT-AT is a really cool looking model. You can create a whole herd of the for the price of just one of the larger version.
The companion Snow Speeder is ok but is way off scale.
The directions are standard Lego format and are easy to follow. The final construction is solid. Parts of this model can be combined with other mini vehicles to create a Y-Wing (don't worry, those pieces come from the Snow Speeder).
All in all, very nicely done.

Gotta Have'm All!!! 19 Nov 2003
By Efrain Rivera Jr. - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Have you seen any of these? They must be the cutest of any Star Wars Lego ever made. And for something so small the details are great. The best part is that you do not need a lot of space to display many of them. The worst part is wishing to buy them all.
They are very simple to put together so for a child it would not be difficult. And they are fun to play with. (Warning: Very Small Parts)
For an adult, especially for a collector, this is a must buy. My cousin has a big display of these mini Lego and they look even cooler than my other cousins Limited Edition Star Wars Lego Collection; and that's saying a lot.
Lego toys are very, very durable (as long as you do not lose any parts), very educational and if you add fun you have a great toy.
If you are interested in playing with them or collecting them you will not regret purchasing this great item.

When a big AT-AT is just too much! 8 Mar 2010
By R S Cobblestone - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I picked up this mini AT-AT a few years ago for just a few dollars (Star Wars Lego #4489 Mini Building Set AT-AT). It's been on my desk ever since. So I was surprised to see it for sale on Amazon for quite a bit more than I paid originally. Collectors like their Star Wars products!

Now, it's not as cool and awesome looking as the bigger model (LEGO Star Wars Motorized Walking AT-AT). But this one fits on your desk, and doesn't need batteries! For the younger LEGO fan, it really fits in the hand, and it is all ready to let the wild rumpus begin. However, the collector's market price probably precludes it from being a real play toy. So this one will continue on my desk, with guns aimed at... the mini Millennium Falcon!
