Power Miners Vs Rock Monsters Mysterious underground rumblings are shaking the LEGO® world. Mischievous little rock monsters are digging beneath the planet's surface! A famous LEGO geologist named Brains studies the monsters and discovers there are five different coloured monsters, each with different characteristics, and all have a huge appetite for the crystals that can be found in the centre of the planet.
Driving incredible mining vehicles invented by Brains, the power miners will embark on a new adventure, deep into the underground world that has never before been explored to fight the rock monsters. The miners must collect the crystals using their fully equipped vehicles, before the rock monsters get their hands on them and grow in power! |
With their stony exteriors and the glowing, crystal-like markings running through their bodies, Brains believes that they may actually be made out of living rock itself. He recruits a team of power miners and engineers to tunnel deep into the Earth to save the world.|
All sets include dynamite, crystal, power miner minifigure and rock monster. Age range 6 years+ The miners must clear the crystals before the rock monster can get to them. For a child old enough to be able to put the lego together following the instructions, maybe with a bit of adult assistance this lego set is brilliant! The instructions are clear, the build quality of the pieces is excellent as one would expect from lego and my son loved putting it together, the first time he's done one more or less on his own - very satisfying.

My son (age 6) chose this set for himself using his pocket money and some money from the Tooth Fairy! He built it with his dad in about 10 minutes flat and then spent all afternoon playing with it. Great pocket money price, good instructions and not overly complicated build for a first-timer I would recommend this to others.

Great fun
I am writing this review based on my son's (9 years old) opinion. He is a fan of lego power miners and he says this is the best! It's great to see them building it over and over.

Bought this for my twin boys as they are collecting the Power Miners set....they loved it even though they are the smaller ones of the set they still had lots of fun building it.
