My son was keen to get one of these being a Wii and Lego fan.It is fine and works OK. The customisable bit is a few bricks to add a bit of colour round the edge. One of the bits falls out all the time. the power switch is on the opposite side from normal meaning the bricks that fall out are where the power switch is on regular wii remotes. Comes with 2 backs, but neither will work with re-charger so you have to put up with plain black or white if you use one, which rather spoils special Lego look.

I bought one of these as a Christmas gift but it failed within a week. It had actually been bought in September and Amazon's return process (not unreasonably) requires that after three months the manufacturer be contacted first, which I did. This was fruitless: they (Power A) asked some questions about it which I answered, then I heard no more. Fortunately Amazon were excellent as usual - when I gave up and went to them they immediately agreed to take it back for refund.The product itself wasn't great but I probably just got unlucky. The poor rating is primarily a result of my encounter with the manufacturer's support department.

bought this for my son after our 4th wii remote had stopped working. was great to be able to play as a family again. he absolutely loves it and brings it to friend's houses when he goes to play. works perfectly with wii branded nunchuck as well. overall, great product and well worth the money.
