Very classy looking set with beautiful detail. Great extras and figures(nice touch). Good to see something a little different and my 10year old son was so interested to learn the back ground behind the theme. There is a good selection of items in this set to play with, and as such, it is a good starter set. Like pretty much every Pirates set, it comes with Captain Jack, but also Gibbs, the coach driver and two soldiers. This means there can be some good fights that take place. My son has enjoyed hijacking the coach, holing up in the tavern and so on.
He has other Pirates sets, and this combines well with those too. It is nice to have a "land based set" with a building.
The build of the tavern was a little fiddly in places, so adult help may be required, but overall a good set for the money.
