My 7yr old son always loves lego. This is the first set he has put together himself. It's one of the smaller sets, but there are lots of bits for the ninjago to train with.

My son loves lego, and for the moment being, his favorite lego is ninjago. He really likes the spinners and the fights you can enjoy with them. We have great fun playing with ninjago spinners and also with assembling them.
