My 7 year old son bought this for himself with his birthday money. He put it together on his own, which kept him busy for a number of hours. He loves it and continues to get lots of entertainment out of it. You can't go wrong with Lego.

Bought this for my oldest son Connor on his 10th birthday.
He's played with this almost every day since, rebuilding, making his own designs, having "battles" with the Lego figures. He loves Lego generally and the Kingdom series has been a huge favorite. Not cheap this stuff, but great value as it gets used again and again. Love the way he can make his own castles, I think this makes the toy magic for him. If you like Lego, you're gonna LOVE this. Your kids might even like it too!!
