My 4-year-old daughter loves this set, as she loves singing and dancing and she loves Lego. She needed a bit of help putting it together, but there are no fiddly stickers to put on as the sign saying "Andrea" and the front of the ghetto blaster (beat box? boom box??!) are printed on.
This is the second Lego Friends set that we have bought, and in both cases there are not too many bricks, you would most likely get more Lego for your money if you bought a similarly priced Lego City box. However, the Lego Friends sets are so pretty with their gorgeous colours, and they're proving to be irresistible to my little girl.
The box says for ages 5-12, but I would say this set is more suited for ages 4-8 as there are simply not enough pieces to make it challenging enough for older kids. But it's SO pretty!!

My 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son built this together with a bit of help from their father. The build quality and instructions are as good as you always expect from a Lego product. Learning to follow step by step instructions is a great learning process for the children. My daughter has several of the other Lego Friends kits and enjoys playing with them all together. Only down side is as with other Lego products it is quite expensive for what you actually get.

My 6 year old granddaughter loves the 'Lego friends' for girls and plays imaginatively with the characters. We also have my sons' Lego from 30 years ago that has been used at school and that's still going strong....what durability!
