Sick as a Dog?
Heartlake’s state-of-the-art vet is where all the city’s sick pet and wild animals are lovingly nursed back to health. As an avid animal lover and possibly a future vet, Mia can often be found helping out here, assisting the vet with feeding and caring for the animals. This vet is fully equipped with everything necessary for animal care; the rescue trolley, scales for monitoring weights, a heat lamp, x-ray machine, bandages, medicine as well as different areas for small animals and horses to rest and get well again.

Characters to Collect
You’ll find two special Friends mini-dolls in this set. Sophie is Heartlake’s local vet. Mia is mad about animals, which is why she gets the nickname Dr Doolittle. She has cages of birds and mice in her bedroom and picks up any stray. Mia works part-time at the local vet, and often in her own world, but she is also very hands-on and practical. She often has feathers sticking out of her hair and Emma accuses her of sometimes smelling like a horse. You’ll also get an aquarium with fish, Bella the horse, Oscar the hedgehog and Scarlett the dog in this set.
You can also find Mia in the puppy house and dog show.
Extend the Fun with Stephanie's Pet Patrol
Stephanie has her cool quad bike warmed up and ready to patrol for lost or wounded pets. Go off-road and find animals to bring to the veterinarian or to take back home to their owners. Just load them in the trailer and ride!

We got this set a few days ago, my 8 year old daughter having ordered it with her remaining Christmas money. She absolutely loves it. It was really easy for us to put together (she would have easily been able to do it on her own as the instructions are so easy to follow, but she likes us to do it together). There is plenty of detail in the buildings and the new Lego dolls are lovely. The only negative point, as usual with Lego sets, is that you don't seem to get so much for your money. Overall it's a fantastic little set, it will keep kids occupied for many hours, and it's great fun to put together. My daughter wants the whole Friends range - we may be saving up for many months to come!

My daughter loves this, I also bought the vet for my other daughter so they play both the lego kits together. It takes a good hour for them to put it together which is good for keeping them busy and they have played with this lego for hours.

My almost 6 years old daughter really liked this lego. The previous lego for girls (I have an older daugther) have been too simple to construct, and the pieces have been so specialiced that there was little option for the girl to be creative with them.
The previous girls lego like Aladin's castle only took a few minutes to build and the walls were in one piece and the roof in another, (much like Duplo, but for smaller kids this makes sense).
Also the new sereies Lego Friends is less Barbie like. I meen, even the kids think the "cinderella horse carriages", which is actually just a cheap piece of plastic, that falls apart within the first day, or even while you struggle to get it out of the box, is a cheap piece of plastic. I am sad to say that the lego snow queen slay, left almost the same feelings.
I think this Duplo/Barbie touch has completely changed (for the much better) with Lego Friends.

This was a birthday present for my granddaughter and she loves it. She had built it within a couple of hours and enjoys playing with it.
