My son loves his dinosaur duplo and plays with it often. It has just the right amount of pieces 'made-up' incl dinosaurs and a clever cave framework to get his imagination going to create a 'dino jungle'. Only small issue is that he and visiting friends always fight for the single large T-Rex - wish there were two of these :)

You get a lot in this dinosaur set. It's sturdy, has a lot of interesting additions and was a big hit with my nephew. Dinosaurs are the current favourite, and I think the compatability of the Duplo means that they'll be around for a long time.

This kit comes in a huge box taken up mainly by the large single piece cave. It is expensive for what you get but is by far my 3 year old son's favourite Duplo set. We have kept it seperate from the rest of the Duplo so that he can make it up from the instructions, with help.

The game is not always the same but generally goes like this.

1. The instructions are used to make up the "dinosaur castle" - as he calls it. There are about 10 steps to this.
2. The cavemen go fishing from the canoe.
3. The T-rex comes along and stamps on everything and breaks it all up.
4. T-rex goes fishing and does some more stamping..

.... Dad tidies up
