Duplo is wonderful, it's uses are so flexible for all ages, I bought this set for my cousins 2nd birthday, and there was a bit on toy overload but he really loved it and kept returning to it and definatly favouring it above a more complecated duplo kit too!

My son got this garbage truck for Christmas 2007, just before he turned two years old. He has played with this toy truck every day since - and has taken it to bed at night. The truck is basically unbreakable, consists of 3 parts which makes it easy to "repair" when the parts are fallen apart. No toy or stuffed animal can keep up with the excitement my son still shows for this toy after over a year has passed. We have several dump trucks that make sounds, but this one is the only one he really plays with even though it doesn't make any sound. The price Amazon offers this toy for is ridiculous. Just google it (lego 4659) and you will get other offers for a fraction of Amazon's price.

I was looking specifically for this lego duplo set but was told it was not available in the U.S. Well, it was, thank you Amazon. It was purchased as a birthday gift for my 3 year old grandson. He is a true truck enthusiast and also enjoys putting things together. This toy creates two of his playtime enjoyments in one, plus it is a way to introduce the importance of recycling and the meaning of the word "Green". I would have purchased it any way but was expecting the toy to be a little bigger Therefore, I wish I had known the size of the toy.

This has been a great toy and lasted several years...but my eyes could not believe the price. I think you can still buy this on legoshop site for fraction of the cost!!! What a rip off!
