My son already had a duplo collection made up of hand-me-downs and some extra bits like one of those big flat boards for building on (essential for making big buildings), but you can never have too much! this set has a good combination of basic blocks, 'windows' (which we were lacking but make great fun as they open and close) and a couple of fences which have proved surprisingly versatile - they often become a castle portcullis. There is also a wheeled truck which is a must for any boy - we now have a load of them and they get joined up together like a train. I couldn't find this particular set in the shops or even at legoland (windsor) and was very pleased with it.

I bought this for my nephews 2nd birthday and it seems to have gone down really well. I grew up with a Lego Duplo set similar to this one that my mum still has and my son and nephew still play with. It's great for honing their construction and imagination skills.

Fabulous and great value
Fabulous Lego set. We bought it as an addition to an existing lego box , but it could easily be a set on its own . Has provided hours of fun !!!
