I bought this for my great niece who is 2. She played with it immediately it was out of the wrapper, and despite the box being as big as her, insisted on carrying it out the door when she went home. It was a big success and I have bought her the polar zoo for Christmas to add to it. Highly recommended.

The children I nanny for have had this toy for about a month now and from the day they got it has been a firm favourite. It is the only toy they will play co-operatively with, because it has so many peices.
The five year old likes to build the zoo and play imaginatively with the animals, and the two year old likes to build brick towers and arrange all the animals along the table in size order.
The only thing they argue over is the crocodile: it has a moving mouth which you can put food into. If only another of the animals in the zoo did this too!
I bought them the polar zoo and it makes a great add-on, as both sets have some of those see-through bricks and it has great little slides to put the penguins through.
Great quality, I can't see that it would ever break. Some of the little people come on outings with us to the park and survive the sand pit just fine!
