I bought this Lego Duplo box because I felt that it offered the best value for money when it come to buying Lego (and it does!), because otherwise, buying individual themed boxes works out really expensive. My son is two years old and absolutely loves his Legos. He was thrilled when this one arrived and he s played with it every day since (over a month now). We, the parents, have great fun too! Furthermore, at this age, what a child needs most is stimulation and I dont find that themed Lego toys offer as much stimulation as simple bricks that allow you to build just about anything you wish (using the child s imagination). A long set of bricks put together becomes a train, then later a rocket, then later a caterpillar! Having said that, the little Lego wheels inside is great for building various types of cars / trucks / tractors and it s great to have some extra shapes and the little boy and swing. My only criticism, as with all Lego boxes, is that there arent more characters inside (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Each box seems to come with only one character, which I think is a shame really, especially for a larger box like this one. Someone commented on the box being too big for the amount of Lego inside (half full), but that is so that you can add all your other Lego bought separately (smaller boxes of Lego are made of cardboard and disposable). We already had some Legos and now have filled this box to the brim and it s great to have them all in the same place.

I would definitely recommend this toy! Personally, I think that toys with building blocks / bricks are the best a toddler can have. I used to prefer wooden toys, but you cant build the same things with wooden bricks, so nothing beats simple Lego bricks (or equivalent) really!

A great sized set, in a handy storage bucket. Contains everything from a medium plate to a wheeled piece to allow for some imaginative play.

Nice to have this alone or along side other more 'themed' sets, and as such is brilliant value for money.
