This train is great! Like all Lego Duplo it's robust, colourful and above all entertaining for small people. By small people, I mean children, not hobbits. There are numbers on the sides of the 'carriages' to encourage early numeracy too, which is a nice touch.
It's compatible with all other Duplo bits and pieces so it can be combined with all manner of improbable things. Only this morning, my 20 month old son had a cat as the engine driver, and a window in place of the engine. Madness I tell you!
Recent research places a conservative estimate of a trillion songs now in existence about trains. The upbeat 70s optimism of the O'Jays''Love Train', Ozzy Osbourne's 80s classic 'Crazy Train', and not forgetting the gentle refrain of Cat Stevens' 'Peace Train', all collectively illustrate the importance of this form of transport to humanity in all its myriad shapes and colours...What has this got to do with this Lego Duplo Number Train I hear you cry? Trains are important, and this one is no less important that the others even though it may not be sixteen coaches long, and have taken my baby away, to paraphrase Elvis.
Hurrah!LEGO DUPLO 10558: Number Train
