We only bought 'pink' lego so that my daughter would have lego that was clearly 'hers' as her brother is lego mad. This set is disappointing because we built the house as per instructions, but the size of base and bricks do not allow for the house to actually be 'played' with ie - the lego person supplied does not even fit in the house.My daughter has shown a lot of interest in her brother's lego, but none in this.

i have brought this for my little girl for xmas, when i opened it i was shocked to see how much lego you are paying for! which is hardly anything, it really is a total rip off. amazon you need to drop the price and maybe it would be worth buying. other then that the colours are nice and i know my little girl will love making things with it even though it wont be very much!!

They really are - and in not one but three shades at that. There could have been more though. The same goes for the one window and one door - and two fence pieces. As a starter set it is nice - but as an addition to an existing collection there could have been a little less "common" bricks and a bit more of the above mentioned speciality bricks. And more pink! Still, the set itself is quite darling and has the usual great Lego play value.
