In addition to the previous review, I can't compare to older versions, but I can say that this is a nicely made set, with clear stepped instructions, that my 4 year old couldn't wait to make. He did so, after about an hour of peace and quiet, with only a little support when placing the stickers on straight. He still plays with it, the dog being a real plus, but now makes his own variations on the theme - such is the joy of Lego. We have since bought this for his friends birthday party gifts due to the sensible price bracket. Oh, and his Dad enjoys making and playing with it too ;-)

i bought this lego for my godson who has the lego city police station so this was an extra addition. he is 6 and he loves it. well satisfied

Bought as a present for a friends daughter! She loves lego and can't put the stuff down....after all these years Lego still stands out from the crowd as being a quality product that kids love to play with !!!
