Lovely little set! As the box states, this is a quick build if you feel like treating yourself to a cheap Lego kit. One of the reasons I got it over other 2.99 sets was that it doesn't include any 'special' pieces; ie, pieces moulded just for that model. This means that all the pieces or original Lego bricks and can be broken down and used with other bricks.
It's a really nice design - lovely chunky wheels on a high rising chassis. The back-lights can move back and forth, and theirs a clip so that the fire extinguisher or axe can be clipped on, while your fire-fighter holds the other.
However, the product features are wrong for this item, and I'm surprised Amazon won't let you update them (only for the cataloging section!). This set includes the little truck, mini-figure, and an axe & fire extinguisher.
Highly recommended - I'm 19 and still buy these small sets to fill up my computer desk when I'm bored!

My 3-year old is obsessed with this little car - He carries the bits around in a little plastic bag and builds, disassembles and re-builds it about a hundred times a day. There are only two problems, mainly caused by him being slightly too young for it:
1. If tired he sometimes gets frustrated as he cannot always disassemble it as easily as he would like - there are several flat bricks which take some thought to disassemble
2. Some of he pieces are tiny (hence only 4/5 for durability), especially the axe and the fire extinguisher accessories - prepare for tears if they are lost in the rug!
Apart from that, this model is excellent value and has provided hours (ney, days) of problem-solving and fun for my little boy.

My 6 year old grandson really enjoyed putting this together. He did it very quickly and I think a much younger child could also manage to do it too

Good product shame about the packaging
Bought this as a birthday present and whilst the product itself was fine, the box had been squashed into small cardboard packaging which left it a bit battered, so disappointed... Read more
